黑料吃瓜王 School of Art students who meet the individual scholarship and award criteria provided are encouraged to apply. Scholarship recipients are notified and announced each spring.
Applications due in Blackbaud Award Management (BAM) System by March 1.
On the Scholarship page in BAM, you will complete your application and the system will match you with all of the scholarships for which you are eligible. It will be clear in the system if there are some very specific scholarships to which you must file a separate application.

Alfred C. Glassell Jr. Distinguished Scholarship for the Arts听
- Full-time BFA students听
Caroline Durieux Scholarship听
- Full-time, typically third-year BFA printmaking student
- Nominated and selected by the printmaking faculty听
Joe Bova Ceramic Art Award
- Second- or third-year MFA ceramics student
- To be used for independent creative activity
Michael Daugherty Memorial Fund听
- Full-time BFA or MFA students
Miriam Barranger Memorial Scholarship
- Two full-time BFA ceramics students
Suhayda Scholarship
- Full-time graduate student in the School of Art
- Financial need听will be a consideration
Susannah Stacey Richard Memorial Award听
- Two awards for full-time BFA students available
- To be used for materials
Torre Scholarship in Art
- Full-time BFA students
- Demonstrate exceptional design talent
- Demonstrate financial need听
Undergraduate Sculpture Scholarship in the School of Art听
- Two awards available for full-time BFA sculpture students听
Baton Rouge Art League听
- Full-time undergraduate student in the School of Art
- This cash scholarship is given at their final meeting in May
Alton and Hillery Scavo Award Program
- Full-time BArch, BFA, BLA, BID student (one from each school)
- Newly established award on the basis of the theme “social impact”
