黑料吃瓜王 School of Architecture students have access to the facilities they need to create, learn, and excel in their studies. Whether a student needs to build a model, print a master plan, or prepare a final project for review, the school or the College of Art & Design has a resource in place to help. The Design Shop, a traditional wood-working studio where students have access to state-of-the-art digital fabrication equipment including a 3D printer, laser cutter, and CNC mill, is located next door to Atkinson Hall in the Art Building. Students can rent photography and lighting equipment and access more 3D printers and a 3D scanner while learning effective communication skills specific to the discipline of architecture at the Communication across the Curriculum (CxC) Art & Design Studio. The VizLab聽offers large-scale printing, scanning, and other computer services as well as specialty software.
Students seeking academic advice can meet with counselors in the Office of Student Services, located in the heart of the college on the second floor of the Design Building. A counselor is always on hand to help students meet important dates and deadlines and to guide students toward available internships and jobs that will hone their skills and provide them with the experience they need to pursue their careers.
